Yantra literally mean an instrument or a machine. Yantra mythologically is a symbolic representation of the appearance of a god usually the mother or goddess Durga. It is a matrix of interconnected geometric figures, circles, triangles and floral patterns that form a fractal pattern of elegance and beauty. Although drawn in two dimensions a yantra must represent a sacred object tri-dimensional. The Tri-dimensional yantras are becoming incredibly common. Although the yantra is a tool used in meditation by serious researchers both spiritual and sculptors of classical tradition, its shakti is also available for researchers to start with sincere devotion and good intentions.
It is believed that yantras mystics reveal the basis of domestic forms of the universe. Their role is to be Yantras, symbol of cosmic revelation of truth.
