Milarepa was a Great spiritual master of Tibet whose route was atypical. First formed bon practices for the exercise of black magic and avenge his family at the request of his mother. Milarepa sought Buddhist teaching with a great Tibetan master, Marpa (1012-1096). After being tested by his master, the latter provided Milarapa lessons later he retired to practice meditation in the high mountains where he reached the Awakening. Milarepa is also famous for having composed “one hundred thousand songs.” At the end of his life, he transmitted his teachings and had several disciples.
