lineage and Motivation
When the lama asks the disciples who they are, he is enquiring about their lineage. And when he asks what they like, he is-enquiring about their motivation. When the principal deity and lama asks these questions, the disciples answer, ‘We are fortunate ones belonging to the Mahayana lineage; our motive is to engage in the path of great bliss!’ Repeat these answer after the principal deity/lama.
